Privacy Policy

SteadyRoad is designed for reflection on your device, not surveillance in the cloud. This page describes what the app may access locally, what never leaves your phone, and how information tied to this website is handled.

Effective date · June 18, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the SteadyRoad iOS application available through the app store and the support pages hosted on this domain. It governs anyone who installs the app or visits this website.

Information we handle

Core features do not require your legal name, email, phone number, home address, government ID, or payment details.

Life phases, habit entries, milestone dates, and journal notes you create are stored locally on your device. Your personal roadmap is not uploaded to our servers for analytics or resale.

When the app fetches shared content — onboarding copy, phase templates, or weekly checklist prompts — it may request public text from this site. Those responses contain only generic material; your personal entries are never included.

Device permissions

SteadyRoad may ask for notification access so you can receive gentle reminders for habits, phase reviews, or milestone check-ins you scheduled.

Camera or photo library access is used only if you attach an image to a milestone or journal entry. Microphone, contacts, and precise location are not used unless a future release clearly requires them and this policy is updated to reflect that change.

Standard storage and network permissions allow the app to run and download optional template updates. Crash reports sent through the platform store follow that platform's privacy terms.

Third-party services

Hosting keeps this policy page and public API endpoints available. Providers may retain server logs for security and uptime under their own privacy policies.

If we add analytics or support integrations later, we will list them here and restrict sharing to what each service needs to function.

Children

SteadyRoad is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a minor submitted data by mistake, contact us through the app store support channel — we will help with removal where possible.

Retention and security

Your phase and habit records remain under your control on your phone. Remove individual entries inside the app or uninstall to clear local data.

We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted pages and server-side components. No system is fully immune to risk — treat deeply personal reflections with the same care you would a private diary.

Your choices

You can stop using SteadyRoad at any time. Disable notifications or revoke optional permissions in iOS Settings whenever you want a narrower experience.

To request access, correction, or deletion of data we handle directly, use the support contact listed on the app store page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this text as SteadyRoad evolves or as regulations shift. The date above marks the latest meaningful revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version where permitted by law.
